Riverside Theatre Company's specialist singing groups were established in 2002. They give members (and non members) who have particular talents in this area to further enhance their skills by having this dedicated training. The choirs represent the RTC organisation at many outside functions. They have been asked to entertain at fetes; Rotary Club, Round Table & Inter Wheel functions & dinners; birthday & Christmas parties; official openings; garden parties, and many fund raising activities. If you have an event or celebration 'coming up' they would be delighted to provide a selection of music to suit the occasion. On the 30th March 2008 Gareth Malone, the driving force behind the BBC series The Choir - Boys Don't Sing, coached Riverside Singers in preperation for the Choir Olympics.

In May 2010 they took part in Vocal Variety a massive concert arranged by Riverside which also included many other local choirs, including Riversides' very own VOX ROCKS - No girls Allowed. Click here for more information on VOX ROCKS and how to join. |

In July 2008 the singers won a silver award in the largest and most successful choir competition in the world; The World Choir Games! They have also been successful in winning the Bedford Music Festival in The Senior Choir Section and also gained first place in the regional final of The Rotary Young Musician of the Year Competition.
